In this webinar, Dr. David Altig will provide an update on the state of the U.S. economy, including data on the economic impacts of COVID-19, recovery expectations for the business community, and the Fed’s approach to policy.

About the presenter: Dr. David E. Altig serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Dr. Altig advises the Bank president on monetary policy and oversees the Bank's regional executives and the research department. He also serves as a member of the Bank's Executive Leadership Committee. He is an adjunct professor of economics in the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and from 2016 to 2019 served as director of the National Association for Business Economics. He is a member of the advisory of the Global Interdependence Center and the Konstanz Seminar on Monetary Theory and Policy.
