This class is suited for expecting moms at any level of fitness and any week of their journey.
What to Expect In Class:
This 1 hour group session is designed specifically to address the unique needs and challenges of pregnancy. These poses are chosen specifically for this special nine month journey that you and your baby are on, and have been approved by midwives, doctors and doulas.
This class will allow expecting moms to build physical strength that they’ll need during the third trimester and active labor. Additionally, movement always helps you and your baby's overall wellbeing. Each class will contain the most beneficial yoga poses for moms, birth breathing techniques that midwives use as well as yogic breathing exercises, and finally we will embrace a deeper connection with our ever changing bodies, growing babies and our mind through different meditation techniques.
Mukta's goal is to help moms experience pregnancy with a sense of joy and comfort. She has over a decade of experience teaching prenatal yoga, is also a yoga therapist which allows her to assist attendees with hands-on techniques to address issues such as constipation, shortness of breath, fear, back pain, numbness or sleep disturbances.
*Mats + Props provided. Hot/cold tea & hot/cold towel provided. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to find parking and settle in.
