Join the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra's conductor Peter Rubardt and world-renowned violinist Chee-Yun as they kick off the 2013-2014 concert season. Opening the program will be Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture, Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole, and Dvorák's Symphony No. 6. Chee-Yun displays a complete mastery of the violin in Symphonie Espagnole, marking her return to Pensacola for the first time since 2008. Starting at 7p.m., Dr. Larry Reed will present his ''Classical Conversations'' for those who are interested in learning more about the music prior to the concert. The Matinee Dress Rehearsal for the concert begins at 2PM on Saturday at the Saenger Theatre and tickets are $5 at the Palafox entrance.
