Do you know what to do if a natural disaster hits our area? Are you new to the Pensacola area? Sign up for "When Disaster Strikes: Prepare! Act! Survive!," a FREE two-day workshop for those who want to feel more prepared for natural disasters. Learn survival strategies to care for and rescue yourself, your family, and pets during and immediately after a disaster. Hosted by Pensacola's Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies and taught by TEEX, this is a class you don't want to miss! This class will be held August 16th from 1 to 5 p.m. and August 17th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Escambia County Public Safety Building at 6575 North W. St., Pensacola. To participate, attendees must be 14 years old and up.  14 to 17 year olds must have a parental figure present during the classes.
