Collection in Context: Women Creating

Collection in Context: Women Creating December 2, 2015 – February 27, 2016 This exhibition presents the diversity and growing strength of the Pensacola Museum of Art's Permanent Collection. Highlighting female Modern and Postmodern artists through a variety of media including photography, oil on canvas and etchings. Engaging public programs including a lecture on the history of women in the arts and a film screening accompany this exhibition. Women Creating can describe the theme of this exhibition and the origins of the museum itself. Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Museum is closed on Sunday and Monday. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 children 17 & under, military, and seniors. Admission is free for Museum members.
