Pensacola Area Commitment to Excellence (PACE) Awards is the Pensacola Region’s pre-eminent celebration of the community’s visionary entrepreneurs, business and civic leaders and exemplary corporate citizens. This is a formal event with more than 400 community and business leaders in attendance.

Emerging Leader of the Year

Awarded to an individual who has shown significant potential for leadership recently in business or community endeavors and who is expected to continue having a positive impact in the community.

Professional Leader of the Year

Awarded to an individual who has made a difference and contributed to the success of their profession by distinguished service to his or her profession, has earned a high respect for his or her stature and integrity and inspires others in his or her profession.

Community Leader of the Year

Awarded to an individual who has distinguished himself or herself through outstanding contributions in the form of a special project or service or a series of projects or services on behalf of the community and who exemplifies the true spirit of service.

Business Leader of the Year

Awarded to an individual for outstanding success in business or industry through the development of a new process, product or service or for meaningful contributions to the local business community and who exemplifies the qualities of the business visionary.

Spirit of Pensacola Award

Awarded to an individual who embodies the “Spirit of Pensacola” and who has given many years or a lifetime of service to the business, profession or community.

Pioneer Award

Established in 1978 and awarded to honor an individual who has made significant contributions, provided leadership with lasting impact and who has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to progress for the Greater Pensacola Area.
